1. The pilot
- Rethread is in a pilot: an early version, offered free to people invited to try it, so it can be improved before it is offered more widely.
- You must be 18 or older.
- An invitation is personal. One account per person.
- The pilot may change, pause or end at any time. If it ends, you will be told at least 14 days before, and can export what Rethread keeps for you before your account is deleted.
2. Google
- You sign in with your Google account and connect the Google Drive folders you choose. Rethread asks Google only for read-only access to Drive: it cannot change, move, rename, share or delete your files.
- During the pilot, Google shows a warning that it has not verified Rethread. That is expected: Google reviews apps like Rethread before a public launch, not during a small pilot.
- You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings or in your Google account.
3. Your files and the people in them
- You keep every right to your files. Rethread claims none.
- You may connect only files you have the right to let Rethread read. If your files hold other people's information (a client's, for example), you confirm that you may share it with a service that processes it for you, and Rethread processes it only on your behalf, to provide the service to you.
- Rethread never contacts the people in your files or the people who comment on them, and never sends anything to anyone but you without your approval of the exact content.
4. What Rethread does, and what it cannot promise
- Rethread reads your files and proposes projects, tasks and deadlines; nothing it proposes becomes active until you accept it. It detects progress from what changed in your documents, shows the change as its evidence, and lets you undo or correct any update.
- Rethread can miss things or get them wrong. It judges whether work is present in a document, not whether the work is good. You remain responsible for your own work, deadlines and commitments; check anything that matters.
- The pilot is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will always be available, complete or free of errors.
- Your files in Drive are never changed by Rethread, so they are your copy of record. What Rethread keeps is backed up daily; a failure could lose up to a day of what it worked out, never your files.
5. Using Rethread fairly
You agree not to:
- use Rethread to break the law or anyone's rights;
- try to reach another person's account or data, or the parts of Rethread that are not offered to you;
- put Rethread under deliberate load, or get around its limits (the daily AI budget, the number of folders and files);
- share your sign-in with others.
Rethread may suspend an account that does any of these, and will tell you why.
6. Confidentiality
Decided with the patent adviser before these terms are published: either no clause, or one asking you to keep what you learn about how Rethread works, beyond what it shows you, confidential.
7. Feedback
If you send feedback or answer a survey (for example about the resume notes), Rethread may use it to improve the product. You do not have to.
8. Price
The pilot is free. Nothing is charged, and no payment details are asked for. If Rethread later charges for a plan, you will be asked first, and nothing changes for you without your agreement.
9. Ending
- You can leave at any time by deleting your account in Settings, Privacy and data. Everything Rethread keeps for you is removed from the live service at once, and from the backups within 30 days.
- Rethread may end your access if these terms are broken (section 5), or when the pilot ends (section 1).
10. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date, and you are told before it applies. If you do not agree to it, you can delete your account.
11. The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
